Import marvelous designer animation into maya
Witryna26 sie 2024 · When importing into Maya an alembic file which was created in Maya, it doesn't retain the material. I export the .abc with "write uv" checked. So okay, I'll assign a material to it. Well, the material takes, but the texture doesn't. This is puzzling because if I just open the .abc file, I can assign a material with texture. WitrynaIn Maya 2024 I created a polyCube, a default maya camera, and a joint. They all had the same animation on them and were not in a hierarchy. I exported them all as an FBX with default settings. I imported them into Marvelous 8. I see the items in my scene hierarchy within Marvelous, I can set my camera to be the one that I imported.
