WebNov 25, 2008 · Discussion Starter · #1 · Nov 23, 2008 While greasing my Outlander 800 today in a hurry (wanted to get to my deer stand) I stripped the front U Joint Zerk while pulling the coupling off the grease fitting. I am sick about it. All I can think of is having to pull the shaft off in order to fit a new fitting into the U Joint. WebNov 21, 2006 · I have a grease fitting "hole" that is stripped out. WebJul 20, 2024 · #2 In my radio controlled vehicle experience the fix for stripped plastic screw holes is what you said...fill with epoxy or crazy glue then screw in the same screw. The threads should be created in the epoxy before it sets. I'd use epoxy for such a large screw hole...crazy glue works for smaller stuff.
